Why this matters

The situation: A fictional company tests regional demand without overwhelming onboarding.

The invitation exposes a client-sent packet, not the company’s private team room.

Client-authorized sample access only; this view grants no decision rights.

In your own decision: Ask the client for a scoped invitation. Give your independent reading; the client keeps decision authority.

Advisor workspace

Your clients, kept separate. Open an engagement or review an invitation.

Who can do what
  • The person explicitly assigned decision authority records the commitment. Being an administrator or advisor does not automatically give someone that authority.
  • Participants provide their own perspective before seeing the shared responses. They do not gain authority to decide for the company.
  • An advisor contributes advice within the client’s permission. The client retains decision authority; access to one client does not grant access to another.
  • Sealed contributions are not available early. Protected feedback hides the author’s identity from other participants until voluntary reveal; company administrators cannot reveal it. Wording and a small group can still make the author guessable.

Needs your attention

Your requests and client responses across currently authorized client workspaces.

Responses are recent history, not an unread count. Follow-up dates come from the client’s recorded response; they are not a new assignment to own the decision.

Your client engagements

Ordered by what needs you, not by when the invitation arrived: acceptances that lapse first, then the access that ends soonest.

Waiting for you

Invitations you have not accepted yet. Each one lapses on its own date, and once it lapses only the client can send a new one — so these come first.

Northstar Components (fictional)

Awaiting your acceptance. Until you accept, you have no access to this client’s records.

This invitation lapses: 21/09/2026 — within a week

Client permission ends: 30/09/2026— more than a month away

Access includes all cases shared in this workspace, not private cases. Sealed Team answers keep their existing visibility rules. Either side can end access. Expiry stops access without deleting the client’s decisions or submitted contributions.

In place

Live access with more than a month of client permission left. Nothing here needs you today.

Harbor Clinic (fictional)

Access active. Both the client’s permission and your Advisor funding are live.

Client permission ends: 15/10/2026— more than a month away

How access and funding work

Keep each client separate. An advisor can read shared cases and contribute through reviews and Team Room. The client keeps ownership and makes the decision.

New engagements require operator-enabled Advisor access, active Advisor funding and the client’s dated permission. These are separate. A payment or feature grant never grants access to client records. Team Room activation is separate.

Client capacity: 2

Your Advisor funding: no end date recorded
